This is the view from my seat at the Reebok Stadium.
Saturday afternoon was spent at the Reebok Stadium , watching my team Bolton beat West Ham 3-0.
It was a hot afternoon with the temperature reaching 22C.
Next weekend Bolton Wanderers are at Wembley for the Semi Final of the FA Cup, so expect a picture of the Wanderers at Wembley :)
This is shot from the East Stand, directly into the sun. You can see 10 West Ham united outfield players and 9 Bolton Wanderers outfield players. The missing Bolton player is a the young Spanish left back Marcus Alonso, who is out of shot, having just passed the ball to Matrin Petrov.
365 is all about posting what images you like and today was a very 'likeable' afternoon as my team won 3-0. The warm glow of victory and the warm glow of the setting sun made he 120+ mile trip back home worthwile:)
Good win... always nice to say the hammers struggle :-)... Enjoy Wembley.. having been there 5 times with Pompey in the last 3 years, it feels like our second home haha...
@patsyjphillips Thank you Patsy, 'Go Bolton'..I like it :)...Bolton is a small north west England town, we've played in the English Premier League for over 10 years , we are an unfashionable club 'punching above our weight' ...we cannot compete fianacially with teams like Manchester United and Liverpool , but we sure give them a good game when we play them.....'Go Bolton' :)
@gill thanks Gill, a bit of a self indulgent photo, but hey it waas a good afternoon, the stdium was bathed in sun and it was a t-shirt, sun cream and hat day....it only seems a few weeks ago since I was wearing 3 layers of clothing , a scarf and thermal socks :) ...as for Wembley next week, I cannot say I'm lookig forward to being ripped off with Wembley prices...you are not allowed to take a bottle of water into the stadium ...how ridiculous is that !!
@phil_howcroft enjoy it mate.. it's a great day out and I reckon your boys can do it.. here's my pic from last season's final... Was sat high, high up...
@andycoleborn Thanks Andy, we've got the West End of the stadium (the bit in the shade when it's sunny !!), I'm quite low down on the first level, behind the net towards the corner !!! I think we've sold 30K tickets from our 34K allocation so far. Stoke have sold out
good luck at Wemberleee
