Inside the Chamelia by phil_howcroft

Inside the Chamelia

We have a beautiful chamelia plant in our back garden.

It's usually flowered by mid April, but this year because of the hard winter it's been very late flowering.

I've done a few macro shots of the inside of flowers, but they never fail to look lovely.

The flowers look beautiful, but under the macro setting of the camera you can see a bit of pollen that has stained the lower leaves.
fantastic close-up - love he colours and clarity.

I love this close-up look of the pink chamelia. Its leaves are so delicate and so beautiful. I see your family have quite the green thumbs over there. Me? Flowers and I don't seem to agree. I will live vicariously through everyone else's gardens. :)

Oh lovely Phil - I am very envious of your camellia - they are stunning at the moment. North facing garden here - think they would freeze.
