Market Cafe and Tat Shop Revisited by phil_howcroft

Market Cafe and Tat Shop Revisited

I've posted another image of the Market Cafe and Tat shop , one month after posting the original image !!

This time it is viewed from the side rather than 'front on'

Notice the ...errrrrr.... nice surroundings of the Wilkinson loading bay and articulated lorry .

A nice touch too, with the net curtains in the cafe.

Another peek at Arnold and Nottingham life
I see your town has the most important shop, there, Wilkinsons so that's all right then !

Love the neighborhood feel of this, especially in contrast to the country feel of your picture from yesterday. Seems like you have the best of both worlds!

This is Great, Phil! I like the hometown feel you have captured! The lighting is good, and the colors too!

What a wonderful, sunny, relaxed street scene! Makes me feel like pulling up a chair for an all-day brek (I'll give the tat a miss, though...)

That sign is pretty upmarket except that down here the menu would be sundried tomato crostini and felafel wraps and there wouldn't be anything as useful as Wilkinsons in the vicinity!

@happypat Thanks Pat / Wilkinsons - Wilko is indeed an excellent shop :)

@whippeteer Thanks Frances, it's an unusual combination of shops, there is also a solicitors above the Tat shop !!

@allie912 Allison, thanks for your support, we are the last bit of North Nottingham before you hit a stretch of countryside :)

@jenlyn999 thank you Jennifer, I'm surprised how photogenic the little corner is :)

@kerristephens Many thanks Kerri :)

@cath Catherine, giving the Tat a miss is a good choice, I' can report I have never visited the tat shop or indeed any tat shop !!!'

@judithg Well Judith 'sundried tomato crostini and felafel wraps' sounds quite nice, although I cannot see it going down well in the Market Cafe. I cannot vouch for the quality of fayre available in the cafe ! As for Wilkinsons as @happypat points out, it is an excellent shop :) , but I don't know if they have got as south as Cambridge :)

@sarahhorsfall Yes the 'body pie' was an excellent spot by you Sarah :)
