Back Fill 3 : A shady spot in Nottingham Arboretum
In order that I finish my 365 on the correct day, I have 10 blank days to back fill. This is my Back Fill number 3 from May 2011
This is two ladies sitting in the shade of a tree listening to a brass band perform in the .....errrrr bandstand ....... in Nottingham Arboretum park.
I've adjusted the shadows and highlights a bit to try and keep detail in every bit of the image.
Behind in posting and commenting because I did my self assessment tax return tonight - it was quite easy, but it is a task I've been putting off for months and months , but I have managed to do it 3 weeks before the deadline !
Good for you on beating the tax return deadline with lots of time to spare! Great shot! I might just enjoy being either of those gals sitting in the shade listening to the brass play tunes! Nice job with adjusting for shadows and tones for details!
@marlboromaam thnx Maggie, I'm sure you would enjoy the brass band...I might even buy you an ice cream from the 'ice cream van' at the bottom of the hill :)
Those darn tax forms !! You will feel mighty relieved, we have to pay Capital gains from selling the farm before the end of Jan but keeping it in our bank as long as possible ! I like this photo it reminds me of summer ! funny ladies sitting together but not together !!
