These fuschia flowers dangle underneath my hanging basket
This is SOOC
I used my 55-200 sigma lens on my canon dslr. Maybe I should have used a slightly wider angle lens as the DOF is very narrow on this image. The central flower is not quite sharp.
I was concentrating on getting my bokeh right and I could probably have done this with a wider angle lens and a bigger aperture.
Anyway I did not bother to change my lens, so this is the result.
Some late evening sunshine is illuminating the flowers and they have recently been watered too (which seems to add to the image).
BTW the bokeh background is the wall of our next door neighbours house
I love these hanging basket flowers. Very abundant here in the NW, US. You captured this basket beautifully. The afternoon light works so nicely in this shot. Another good photo Phil.
@seattle thank you very much constance, i'm pleased that you like the image. Some days I find it very hard to shoot an images worthy of posting on here !
Great exposure the light is lovey and the warm glow and beautiful colours of the fuchsias (bah I spelt it wrong but it let me have the right one straight away - with a right click!) My dad adored fuchsias so these make me feel especially happy remembering how much pleasure he got from growing his. Thanks :-)
@phil_howcroft ..hang on.. a lot of suspects on here for the cops to check.. i mean all them lot who "love fuschias" etc @sparkle ....tell it to the judge/officer
Thanks for the kind words
