Wedding Venue Booked - Picture 2

This is a continuation of yesterdays image (taken yesterday).

I'll post the text from yesterday together with a bit of additional info...

yesterdays text .......Those of you who follow me will know that my eldest daughter got engaged a few weeks ago.

Well the wedding is booked - summer 2013 (so lots of time to save up)

Kirsty and Matt are getting married at our local church (see link below) - same church Jane and I got married at !

Anyway the reception ......sorry....they don't call it a reception anymore....it's a Wedding breakfast ......wedding breakfast ...what's all that about ????.......anyway the wedding breakfast and 'evening do' is being held at a local 'boutique hotel'.

We went to book the hotel on Sunday.........

..........Additional information.......

This is the gardens of the hotel, which looks a great place for a photo shoot of wedding pictures and an area where any children at the wedding could have a run around.........I suggested it might be a nice place for a game of 'quick cricket' , 'rounders' or 'french boules ....rather surprisingly everyone thought that might be quite a good idea ........so i'm now on the lookout for a set of French boules !!
Beautiful building

looks a great place to have a reception..ahem breakfast (stupid name; most people are grumpy at breafast!!) - looks like great grounds for shooting photos...though as FOB i'm sure you'll be told on no uncertain terms that the Lumix stays home!!

@sparkle well juliette how about this....i said to wifey i think i might get a new camera for the wedding...(I shoot with a EOS 450D and a little Panny Lumix)....I said the latest trend is for small 4/3rd compacts with interchangeable lenses......a lot smaller than a DSLR I said........ahh she said....I don't like it when you carry your DSLR around it's too big (well she calls it a trunk not a DSLR !!!)....well I think you should get one she said :) :) :) ........I think it will take quite a while to learn how to use it ...don't you ? So I might be on the look out for a new camera in the new year (I mean it will take a good 12 months+ to learn how to use it)

I can feel a new career as events organiser coming on! And exciting news on the camera font - my lovely 4/3rd Lumix is getting a bit battered with all this usage- may need to think about a new one at some point!! One word of warning though - check out the range/price of lenses - some of the Lumix ones are £600 Blearrgghhhhh!!!!!!!

@judithg thanks judith, i always do my research when buying items like cameras...no impulse buys....i don't know if i will go small though ...and i've not even convinced myself i need one ...it was only a throw away line to my wife...i was surprised at her 'positivity' :)
