Geranium by phil_howcroft

Geranium

My geranium's have flowered all summer long.

I's almost October and they still look as pretty as when I first planted them.

This is a detailed study of this wonderful bedding plant which provides spring / summer / early autumn colour in our gardens !

This is the same plant as the one shown in the link below

It's grown in the terracotta pot and just needs watering and 'dead heading' to keep it healthy and blooming.

They can be quite hardy if you wrap them up and protect them from frost !
That's a glorious colour Phil. I do so love your garden shots

Stunning colour Phil & I like the buds underneath !! I thought about you tonight as on the gardening programme ''Love your Garden '' with Allan Titchmarsh it gave the name of an anti theft device for hanging baskets !!! Called ''Basket Genie'' £8.99 for a set of two !!

really like this Phil - great colours - is it me, I think there are flowers in my garden that should've died ages ago. I took a shot of a flower that should have been long gone on day 2 of my project - 30 days to go and the same flower is struggling to hold on!! it must be exhausted!

Marked this as a fav, Phil because it highlights a plant that gets very little credit for being such a garden stalwart. I love the mood you have created and the clarity of each individual blossom.
