Watering can head by phil_howcroft

Watering can head

This is a study of one of my three watering cans and we need to water our plants even though it is the end of September....a sweltering 28C today !

Shot on a long lens with -1.0EV compensation because of the dark background.

You may think why is the water flowing in an arc? OK maybe you might not think that ...but I twisted the head of the can so the water flowed at a slight angle and shot upwards for added dramatic effect......OK maybe not a dramatic effect...but maybe slightly more interesting

Does it work, well I didn't exactly freeze the water or make it all cloudy and arty, but I do like the effect.
I think it makes a great shot. The exposure is spot on. I like the stray water drops.

It's a great effect - a while since your watering cans have featured. Mind you now I feel bad about not being so diligent with my watering....

Can't believe you are hotter than we are in Virginia! This is a fun picture. I like the little drips flying from beneath as well.

I'd say you caught the water movement perfectly.
