Nottingham City Reflections

I cannot believe how far I've slipped behind.

I'm normally a couple of days behind, but I went out on MOnday and then last night (Tues) 365 appeared to be down.

So I'm now four days behind !

Talking of being behind , this is a shot taken from behind the Nottingham city centre water feature on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday was an absolutely fantastic autumn day, sunny, about 17C and not a cloud in sight. I'm tempted to post another Saturday picture from the city centre later in the week because I got some nice shots in the city.

This is four students watching the world go by. It would be better if they had brighter clothes on (rather than autumn colours), but I do like the reflections in the water feature

Will catch up later tonight with more pictures and comments on my friends pictures . Time for work now !
How cool is that. I think they are already bright enough. Great reflection shot.

This is one of your interesting street shots & very nicely composed with the reflections & I like the reference to the 'behind' bit !!!!! I like the way you have cropped this so that the students are the only thing in the frame with the water !!! You will catch up soon & use your Saturday photos too I took some nice ones on Saturday too as the weather was so good ...it's a shame to waste them !!!

@happypat thanks Pat, I had to be careful with my references to 'behind', this is 365 and we are all quite respectful ...If I wasn't careful I may have ended up with a Frankie Howerd / Lily Savage / Larry Grayson type pun ....and could have ended up in the 'dodgy joke' section on that Blackpool montage of jokes outside the tower !!!

LOL - cool shot ! I watched the Wicken AV - it was like reliving my walk but with frost and much more successful photos!!! I photographed that frost on The Backs - King's College mainly - I'll post a few shots around the same date in December. Of course these days I would have spent a lot longer (or maybe not as it was about -12 if I remember rightly!) He does a lovely job on the fading in/out....

@judithg thnx Judith , glad you liked the AV...I use the same software ...pictures2exe ...it's really easy to do an AV with it....I recommend you try to do one. I did an AV of some random images from my first few months on here , looked really good ...I did it to an Adele track :) ...I do simple fades...nothing fancy :)

cool shot - nice reflections- love how it looks like they are "cut off" because of the high water level! nice one

@phil_howcroft He He !!!

Well captured! I like the way all their backs are bowed over. I think the autumnal tones are perfect for this composition. The reflection is just the extra to make this an exceptional picture.

Wow, love this street shot. So well seen with these reflections and the blend from the water refection to the people. Nicely done.
