We went on an a day trip to London today to see the Masterchef and Wine Show at the Olympia Exhibition Centre.
It's an old building full of girders and an oval roof / dome
In the middle of the afternoon the sun started setting and the big window at the end of the hall lit up for a couple of minutes.
I managed to grab a shot of some people on a stairway silhouetted against the window.
I took some pictures at St. Pancras railway station too (on the way home) so I might share one of them later in the week if I'm struggling for an image
It was a good day out, plenty of food samples and some wine tasting too.
Hope you like this image, I've adjusted the saturation a tad in PSE and done a little crop. I'm wondering if I should crop a little more to remove the lettering in the bottom left hand side of the frame
Yes we do like it & how envious I am of you going to that show, I just love Masterchef & am watching it avidly every night !!! Did you happen to see Michelle ? Great window with all those lines & shape too, the silhouettes are a real bonus on that stairway !!!
@sparkle thanks juliette, it was a busy day, early train into london , a dash across to olympia, we were weighed down with errr .... 'bargains' on the way home so it would have been a struggle to do a 365 meet ...oh and the light goes so quick too :)
@laurentye thanks lauren you are kind to comment, I think the image looked better on my little camera screen than it did on the pc, so I upped the saturation a bit :)
