You're Not Fit To Wear The Shirt - 2

This is my second You're Not Fit To Wear The Shirt picture

I did one in April when my Bolton Wanderers team had an inept performance at Wembley

http://365project.org/phil_howcroft/365/2011-04-17

Anyway it was a home match today which meant the long journey from Nottingham to Bolton to see BWFC take on Aston Villa

It was also the first time the Wanderers played at home since our ex player Gary Speed took his own life at 42.

This is the players, officials and crowd paying tribute to Gary Speed prior to the game with 'one minutes applause'

It's a pity the players in white shirts failed to match the respectful tribute with a respectful performance on the pitch.

Once again we were dreadful...I cannot say in words how poorly we played...we booed the players at 45 minutes and those left at the end booed the players at full time.

A wet, cold and miserable dark day in the North West of England today. Well worth the long drive over to Lancashire ....not !!!

I seem to come on here after every Wanderers game complaining how poorly we played....maybe it's a bit of therapy for me !

BTW the image wasn't straight , the pitch was sloping down....a slippery slope to relegation one could say, but I discovered the straighten tool in PSE to make things level !!! A level playing field one might say !

Great point of view on this shot! It shows a large audience and the color of the field just pops! Good job, Phil!

And bottom of the division too Phil !! Oh dear who would be a football supporter !! Be thankful you haven't got that dreadful Peter Risedale ( I think that's his name ) sacking players & saving money here & there ..Preston will be in the 2nd div for sure !!! Lovely tribute & I like the clapping !! Never mind the only way is up ???

Phil maybe you should apply the straighten tool to Bolton too! Might have asked for trouble here... it's Stoke vs Tottenham this afternoon...

@sleepdozer57 Peter, yes we were dreadfull, relegation has been looming since we shipped 10 goals in two home games against Man U and Chelsea.

Everyone loves Owen Coyle at Bolton, there's no calling for him to be sacked, he's an ex player who always gave 100% for us ...he scored in the 95 play off final on our first promotion to the Prem.....but ...and here's the but........he plays all out attacking footie and doesn't know how to defend,... he's not got much tactical nouse other than attack attack attack...he needs some decent coaches behind hime !!!

It's the prima donna players the crowd are getting at, they are 'stealing a living' at the moment...we booed the players not Coyle...although his team selections sometimes defy logic !!!

Oh dear Phil - maybe it's time to support a new team!! LOL. Great shot of the tribute to Speedy. Maybe you can PSE the team into better shape - bit of a dodge and burn and then adjustment of sharpness and contrast - top of the Premier here you come!!
