Back Streets of Arnold - 3

This is my third shot in a recent series of the back streets of Arnold

I think I may have overdone the monochrome post processing. I have tried to make the scene quite moody and atmospheric, but it is quite dark.

Anyway this 'Chapel Lane' Arnold. At the bottom of the lane is a Salvation Army hall (hence Chapel Lane ...I think). The two big gable ends are terraced houses and on the right hand side there is the back yard of our health centre,

Right at the bottom of the Lane, there is some selective colouring ....not quite as prominent as my previous shot of the postman...but the selctive green at the bottom is an ASDA sign (Walmart to US viewers)
Nice perspective

Lovely low angle & I like the tall image it draws attention to the narrowness of the street all the way to the bottom & that Asda sign. I like the way you paint the picture by describing the buildings for us.

Love the low PoV in this one

Very cool shot, Phil! I like the long view to the end and your selective use of color! Great work!

Gritty comes to mind alleviated by the colour at the end, excellent if I may say so!!!

I echo all the other comments and add that I like the tree on the right hand side - without it the shot would lose quite a lot somehow. Good old nature!
