Abstract Tuesday : Two Textures and Tones

Another 'abstract Tuesday' shot to follow on from the one I did on Tuesday 01 October 2012

http://365project.org/phil_howcroft/365/2012-10-02

This is the same location shot a few metres to the left of the previous abstract shot.

I like contrast between the textures and tones of the building...the 'braille bricks' and the 'steel and glass' of this Warwick University building

While walking I almost got knocked over by a student on a bicycle...the young lady came hurtling round the corner ..riding on the pavement and had to screech her brakes....then 5 minutes later a lad on a bicycle starts pinging his bell telling me and my co-worker Julian to get out of the way as we walked on the pavement !! Forgive me if I'm wrong but hey...aren't pavements for pedestrians and the roads for cyclists !!!...It's not as if the roads are busy on the university campus !! Perhaps students have special rights to ride on the pavement in Coventry...yes right...course they do !!!

I struggle with abstracts but I'm quite pleased with this.
like this too.... nice contrasts

Phil, you must take a look at this video if you want to release your frustrations: http://twentytwowords.com/2012/10/30/passing-bicyclist-tries-to-steal-hat-off-mans-head-then-bam-instant-karma/
Love the patterns in this composition.

I like the contrasts. can you explain though why some of the projections on the building to the right aren't projecting outwards?
