LunchtimeTriangles

Lunchtime Triangles, not the 'dairlylea' or 'laughing cow' ones you might find in a lunch box, but triangles creating my 'Abstract Tuesday' shot.

My colleague and co worker / walker, Julian and I went in search of an abstract shot at Warwick Uni' during our 30 minute lunch break.

From a distance, I saw a student walking across a smoked glass bridge connecting two Uni' buildings. I waited for another one to appear but no one did !!!

So I asked Julian to go into the building and walk 'to' and 'fro' across the bridge. Good security the Uni' ...In through the door he went ...and a minute later he walked across the bridge a few times.

It was pretty hard to photograph from the road because I could not get the whole of Julian against the sky ........so you don't see all of him !!!

I was going to do a high contrast monochrome conversion here, but the smoked glass has brought a bit of blue out in the grey sky (almost acting as an ND filter) .

I like the modern patterns and shapes...not quite abstract...or maybe it is !

I actually like the faceless aspect of your friend's silhouette. Much more "soulless" and dramatic. Those geometric shapes are a great find.

A clever & unusual shot Phil & I agree the faceless man is a mystery & a very obliging friend! I like the bluish tinge in the top layer & the grey underneath.

Excellent abstract image Phil! Love the subtle colour change through the glass. I can see 12 or is it 13 triangles!
