This is one of two bauble's that 'hangs' on the hanging basket brackets outside our front door.
There is a Gold one on the other side of the door.
I really like the baubles, but Jane thinks they a a tad 'tacky'.
Saturday was one very wet day....it rained all day and all night. I'm stood in the porch sheltering from the rain pointing my camera upwards to get the shot.
The sky was very bland ...grey / white...and has tuned out very white once the camera was pointed up. I shot this with the flash, but put a paper tissue / hanky over the on camera flash to help diffuse the light and stop the reflection back.
You can see where the flash has hit the bauble...I was going to tone it down or clone it out, but as the flash is on a squiggly bit of the bauble decoration, I decided it looked fine as it is.
Hope you like my big bauble (bought from Ikea many years ago and packed back into the original packaging and stored in the loft for 11 and a bit months of the year). Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without my big bauble's :)
@fannyb fanny it's a big bauble....but one of our neighbours at the top of our little street has decorated one of his garden trees with loads of big baubles...some of which make this one look positively tiny !!!
