Missed opportuninty

I went across the pennines today to see my mum and watch Bolton Wanderers play local rivals Burnley

While I was at the Reebok stadium I was going to buy a ticket for next weeks match at Nottingham Forest (a local match for me)

The queues outside the ticket office for 'today match' were very long ...rather strange as it was only 15 mins away from kick off.

I asked a steward at the front of the queue what the problem was , she said the 'servers were down and they could not

There were probably 250+ people in the queue, some getting quite angry because they were going to miss the kick off.

So this was a 'missed opportunity' for the club as they probably lost quite a bit of income by being unable to sell match day tickets !

Not many missed opportunities on the pitch though as the Wanderers ran out comfortable 2-1 winners......well as comfortable as 2-1 can be !

My hubby can't bear to watch his team - Sunderland - play live any more, he finds it too tense. Sometimes he can't even watch them on TV, as they often let another goal in right at the end! Thanks for your encouraging comments about my monochrome pics. I'm not finding it easy.
