Old and new architecture

At first glance this may look like a collage, but it's not....its shot on a longish zoom and from an angle rather than straight on.

I like how the image shows old and modern architecture in the city of Nottingham.

The smoked glass building is the flagship HQ of electricity giant EON and the building to the left of the image is the Nottingham Guildhall.

Slightly converging verticals, but well worth a place on my 365.

This is essentially a filler pic as Saturday was an trip to Bolton in the rain to watch the football....and when I say rain ...it bucketed down at full time .....a 2.5 hour drive home in wet clothes, wet feet...wet right through to my boxer shorts (too much info !!!) ....and the match was a 'damp squid' too...a dull 1-1 draw between the Wanderers and Shefield Wednesday
You are a true fan (understanding that fan is short for "fanatic"! Good contrast in your photo.

You arrived home a little wrinkled then my friend!!!! All worth while...no good sitting at home on your back side you have to be in the thick of it!!
Can't make out if you have put these two buildings together or they are actually side by side....I rather like the joining of the two, old & modern together.

Thank goodness you didn't lose! Fab shot - love the red green juxtaposition as well as the textures.
