The Greyhound Inn
One of my occasional series of Arnold Public House pictures
The Greyhound Inn, Nottingham Road, Arnold.
An old style boozer. I've been in there twice in my 29 years in Arnold (once quite recently !!).
Thinks to notice in the pic:
The smoking shelter (left hand side of frame)..rather a grand design...popular with....errrr smokers !!!
The purple 'motability scooter' parked outside the side entrance.
The 'customer' making his way to the front entrance.
The gold coloured greyhound statue above the door (it sports a santa hat and tinsel at Christmas).
The sandwich board outside the main door advertising forthcoming events at the pub !
I've said a lot about the Greyhound Pub pic ! Probably rather more than my photo deserves !

This all looks a very well kept & tidy pub...no litter or rubbish outside, a clean well painted front, well signed food blackboard with activities to come plus a car park near by!!
What more could one want or need!

Well I think this looks like a great pub and you should definitely visit it more! These old time boozers are getting scarce!
