Except Trams

The Nottingham tram just about to enter the Lace Market area of Nottingham city centre.

Shot in the rain on a wet Saturday afternoon. Converted to a grainy monochrome shot with a tad selective colouring to try and make the shot more interesting. Not that I had to add the grain in post processing as the gloomy light and weather 'added grain automatically'.

BTW: Most of our trams have names ...this one is "Brian Clough"... the late great football manager of Nottingham Forest and Derby and renowned for his football brain and comments..." "If God had wanted us to play football in the clouds, he'd have put grass up there."

I never would have known the trams are named. I think that is pretty cool and quite a tribute. Like the pop of red.

Great use of selective colour to emphasize the greyness of the day. Loving the tram names, they really made me laugh. Are they official tram names or just ones in common use?
