Chatsworth Landscape by phil_howcroft

Chatsworth Landscape

A filler shot from our visit to Chatsworth before Christmas.

Shot from the Chatsworth Gardens looking over the 'estate' on a damp winters day.

I edited in GIMP, added a retro film filter in G'MIC to emulate a Kodak slide film (at least I think I did ...there are so many film filters I forgot which one I clicked).

Upped the contrast a bit and added a tad sharpening.

The sky is a little disappointing, but the hills have some nice light and colours and the foreground bracken gives a nice stopper natural frame on the bottom bit of the shot.

Stunning scene.

The bracken really stands out well here Phil. Nicely balanced shot....I can see a sort of weir down there.
