Marlies's stick insect

It's almost a year since we had our previous practical evening at camera club and back in 2013 Marlies brought her collection of insects into the club to photograph.

Well she brought them down again on Thursday, so I did another shot of her stick insect.

To make it a bit different than last years shot, I've done the insect in monochrome. I know you should not do natural history in monochrome, but I think it works quite well

Looking! I take bug macros all spring and summer.not one. She has a collection of bugs. Does she catch them or order on internet or have others catch them?
