Steel Girders, Glass and Red Brick

Nottingham Railway Station has undergone a major facelift, refurbish, redevelopment as part of a new public transport system to incorporate the 2 new tram lines being built.

This is the concourse that used to hold the taxi ranks / car drop off places.

Edited in GIMP with auto levels, a bit of straightening, a crop and a G'MIC filter to add some dynamic range to the shot.

Fabulous feeling of action here.

Plenty of light coming in for your photo! Interesting brickwork - glad they have left it!

Your railway station is very beautiful now Phil....the light from that stunning roof is just lovely. They do seem to be updating quite a few stations these days......not so many dirty dingy draughty places now. I like this photo.

I like it too Phil. I looiks and feels like a warm inviting place, not a cold draughty place.

I like the deep shadows and sense of space here, Phil. Nice tones too.
