A Young Starling

The next door neighbours have a Starling nest in their Eaves

They often drop by on our bird feeders

This is a young starling doing a lookout before it swoops onto the nut / fruit / suet pellets feeder. They have a choice of feeder at out house :)

Suet pellets seem the fave if choice.

I got my tripod out for this and manually focusses and then waited for it to pop onto the feeder.

I don't do bird shots, this is only my second ever bird shot on 365.

I have never ever once used my tripod........manual as well,good for you! A very enticing landing spot, fits his/her claws beautifully! I need a bigger lens to do birds & other wild life, I keep hinting but know Harry has no idea at all of the cost of lenses!! I think his suggestion of funds might buy a third!!
