A picture of the packaging from a Gruyère and Chive Cob (for those unfamiliar with the term Cob, you may know it as bap / roll / barm)
We drove over to Newark to shop at Waitrose. Oh and we utilised our mywaitrose cards, which allows holders to a free coffee every day. A nice touch by Waitrose / John Lewis
Anyway not an inspiring photo to start my 2015 images, but it was an unispiring day, dull, damp, cold and absolutely pouring down !
Yes it was one of those days here too Phil. That's why I chose a picture from earlier in the seek. I hope you didn't eat it all at once? I bought an 'olive and rosemary' loaf from the co-op this morning but it tasted too oily for my liking.
That sounds like a 'we did eat it all at once' if ever I heard one, Phil. ;-)
I like all the different light planes caused by the creases. btw - cool in b&w. There's interest to be found in all sorts of unlikely places - and tasty food in all sorts of likely ones. :-)
@dulciknit ahh well Alison, it was only one cob and when i say our soup, it was only me having the bread as Jane (my wife) is Coeliac and has to have a gluten free diet :(
Hmmmm hope it is delicious...a photo of what it looks like would be helpful...hahaha! We have had beautiful clear cold days until today. It isn't really raining, but the air is just wet!! I guess it is drizzle...but it is wet and bit warmer outside. Sun and warmer days are ahead of us (not hot by any means but we'll take it!) THanks for the visits and hope you New Year is a good one.
Personally I think that you took an ordinary rumpled bag and did super job of making an interesting composition. And I just learned a ton of new words that I have never heard before for a roll.
