We had a deep frost last night. Not quite a hoar frost, but still beautiful and worth walking around the garden with my 50mm lens to grab some 'artistic' shots.
Quite a few artistic shots were shot !
I don't know if the top twig aggs to the composition or not, but I liked the ice droplet on the end and on the basis it stayed in the frame
A frosty drive to work tomorrow, which is far better than the snowwy drive I had last Monday !
Yes I think if there hadn't been that beautiful droplet one of your nice letter box shots would have been the thing! Fantastic background there, it really adds to the drama! The frost brings a whole new world!

@happypat thanks Pat, I think I should maybe have gone a couple of stops higher on my aperture as the back bit of ice isn't quite sharp enough
