I nipped one junction down the M1 and a few miles along the A52 , Brian Clough Way today, to watch my team Bolton Wanderers play Derby County
These are some of the 1000+ Bolton fans in the crowd of 30,000
Everyone is all smiles and optimistic just before kick off (when this shot was captured). All doom and gloom at 90 minutes as Derby put four goals past us to our one .
So my last two away games have seen Bolton concede 8 goals. I have another away game in a couple of weeks as the Wanderers visit my home city of Nottingham
Love all the expression in the crowd!! The gentleman on the right in front seems a bit unhappy!! Some looks as though they are watching it on their phones. Awesome and so much to see!! Hoping your team wins Phil!!!
The youngsters in that front row don't seem very much bothered with the result, Phil. I have never been interested in Uk soccer but your frequent comments on Bolton have inspired me to look closer at what happens soccerwise in the Uk.
@eyesmile gena, this shot is just as the players are walking onto the pitch to start the match, so I think people are doing a last few txt's / emails / social networking. Having said that some people post updates about what is happening on various football forums (so people not at the match know what is happening from a fans view')
@sangwann dione, the match was only just about to start, so lots of time to get depressed !!!!

Well,they look slightly more happy than the last lot you showed us....perhaps they are getting hardened to bad news....bit like Blackpool supporters! Living in expectations here!!
