Basford Skyline by phil_howcroft

Basford Skyline

St. Leodegarius Church, Old Basford Nottingham dominates the skyline.

Shot on my lunchtime walk on my Panasonic TZ7

Auto Levels a crop and a G'Nic film emulation filter

I'd be inclined to crop a heap off the rhs here Phil. Get rid of the central look

@swilde yes i did think it was a bit central too sue , it has had a bit of a crop already so worried about losing detail

The name of the saint is a mouthful. I'll bet it has some local pronunciation which is almost unrecognizable. We have a local family whose last name is Taliaferro and it is pronounce Tolliver.

I have never heard of that saints name before....I don't think there will be any babies named after him!! Or it could be a female Saint! Very impressive turret, some work gone into the building of that!
