Every 10 mins you can catch a Scania Nottingham City Transport Bus
A streetie from Nottingham city centre outside the Victoria Centre on Upper Parliament Street.
I did a vibrant coulour version of this but the range of colours (lilac bus, yellow indicators, purple winter coat, red trolley bag) all clashed too much and competed for your eye . Oh and yes we do have lilac buses and lime ones and orange ones and pink ones. The front of our buses are colour coded to indicate which line / route they cover (they also have a number too)
Anyway , I did a monochrome conversion using rawtherapee and an Ilford Delta 100 film emulation
It all sounds very organised & a nice regular bus service....why would you need a car? I understand what you mean about the colours being too much, you can see detail such as the pony tail nicely here. The older lady is very trendy with pretty hat & shopper!
@annied well annie, buses of certain colours tend to depart from a a given set of bus stops, so to us locals we don't notice the colour , we go by numbers :)
like the idea of colour coded buses too - means you don't need to run unnecessarily if it isn't your bus hahahahaha
