When I was taking my pictures of Irene at camera club on Thursday night, fellow member Alan walked by and started a bit of banter.
I showed him my Camera setup with the Industar И-61 53mm f2.8 lens..
I shot a few pics of him while he was there and this is the end result.
The little vintage Industar И-61 53mm f2.8 lens. working it's magic again.
Alan is one of our camera club's senior members , a retired engineer, he shoots Canon and probably his favourite ever set of pics was a study of the disused Tin mines of Cornwall
We had a talk at at camera club from a photographer who had done a whole project on the last coal mine in Yorkshire leading up to it closing. A fascinating study - no doubt Alan would have liked that. Your portrait of him is looking very natural and accomplished.
@helenhall would that be chris Upton who did the talk ... thorseby colliery ... Alan will have seen that talk as chris is a local photographer who did his talk at our club a while back. btw I do a "100 strangers " talk to camera clubs 😀
