I photographed this young lady at Leicester Caribbean Carnival earlier this month. I met her again at the Nottingham Carnival two weeks later , just before it was about to start.
She is a member of the Luton troupe and had travelled to Nottingham for the carnival , All the troupe wore hats. Luton was famous for hats and they were paying homage to the fact that lots of the migrant workers from the Windrush generation worked in the industry. The local football club's nickname is The Hatters.
I showed her the pic from Leicester on my mobile phone and she loved it :) . I gave her my contact card and she said she would email me so I could send the pic to her, She had nowhere to put the card , so she slid it into her bra !!!!
I haven't received an email, so I assume the card slid out of her bra
Thank you both , here is the pic from earlier this month
