They've clocked you - do you know them? Dappled light looks natural, you did it well. One day I shall come and walk over this bridge that I have now re-christened "Phil's Bridge" in my head!
@casablanca Casa' , no I don't know them , I think they may be work colleagues from the Uni' , taking a lunch time stroll ( I always took a stroll at lunch time during my working life )
@phil_howcroft Me too! When I worked near Old Street in the middle of London, I used to walk to Bunhill Fields opposite the Wesley Chapel The most fascinating people were buried in there, including Daniel Defoe, John Bunyan, William Blake and many others. Sounds bizarre but it was a fascinating place to stroll to with my sandwich and soak in the history. Unless I was in musical mode and wandered to the free open air concerts at lunchtimes at Broadgate Circle next to Liverpool Street Station. Memories.....
That's a lovely photo, the black and white gives it such atmosphere, really brings out the detail in the bridge. I used to take a 20 minute walk every day when I was working, along the quays in Dublin City Centre, always interesting, often saw the same people
