As @carole_sandford has already said, the day started so brightly but quickly turned to torrential rain. My plans to pop out to some running water to attempt to put into practice the advice I recieved on yesterday's photograph and get some 'silky water' was scuppered by the weather So, I've had to resort to this old favourite (as has Carole) today, our resident robin red-breast waiting his turn on the feeder.
Forsythia is starting to flower also (hence the really poor pun in the title), so that hopefully means that real Spring is not too far away.
