On my way down to Wiltshire now, after stopping off at Leicester for the final group match in this year’s Champions Cup; Leicester Tigers v Racing92 of Paris.
As you can, the pitch was somewhat less than perfect. We had kids running along and across the pitch with brooms sweeping the lines so they were visible.
Result was a narrow defeat for Tigers, but given recent results and performances, it was a far better game than of late and enjoyable.

Fabulous - it seems sport was not thwarted by the weather yesterday! I found some people punting in Cambridge - nutcases!! Smiling at the kids sweeping away to keep the lines visible. That will at least have kept them warm!
