Framed Church by phil_sandford

Framed Church

Another ‘attempt’ for the ‘Flash of Red’ February challenge.

This week sees the flashofred2018 challenge move to 'compositional elements' and for today’s offering I’ve tried to encapsulate the ‘Framing’ element of the genre that I read about on Google. The frame in this case is the gateway to the church just outside Doddington Hall.

For more info on the Flash of Red Challenge for February 2018 please see here - http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/31004/flash-of-red-february-2018-begins-in-4-days

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated
Well caught, nicely framed.

Nice framing and pov

Like the contrasts, not sure about the wonkyness of the gateway though. The tilt detracts, and distracts, from that lovely bright church.

Nicely framed

@30pics4jackiesdiamond The Church is level. The gate, at almost 500 years old is, actually, wonky.

Super natural framing - and I like how the dark gateway contrasts with the bright church.
