African Lilly by phil_sandford

African Lilly

The Agapanthus - the only 'blue' in my garden and desperately hanging on due to the human intervention of watering.

Lovely shot. I heard somewhere that because they come from Africa they're loving this heat, so I haven't watered mine and it seems to be fine:)

I’m about to decide I can’t water my plant enough it’s just too hot now and will be for days. This plant is drought hardy, it looks pretty, really.

I'm shaking my head wondering how any plant is surviving this heat - sounds like you're having it, too. What a pretty color.

A very strong plant - indeed almost impossible to get rid of it if you need to! Also very pretty with the head of blue!

They are very waterwise Phil and survive well in dry periods. I would not worry too much ;-) Ours have all survived the big drought, albeit the flowers not being as full as usual.
