Last of the Curry Plant by phil_sandford

Last of the Curry Plant

This is not an edited photograph, I’ve not converted everything to black and white and kept the yellow. This is a “Helichrysum Italicum” or as it’s more commonly known, a Curry Plant because if you crush its leaves, the grey foliage, it smells of a half decent curry. It’s a member of the daisy family and classed as a herb.

It hasn’t flowered that much this year, or if it did, I missed it.

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
Super interesting image and narrative.

What an interesting flower. I like the desaturated look to the background... amazing that it was SOOC.

I've seen this flower before, but never known it to flower with such intense colour. A super capture
