Sumertime in San Francisco

Going thru old photos and remembering how cold it can be in San Francisco in the summer. On this day in 2014 it was cold and windy. As I was taking this pic the tide was coming in and I almost got cut off from my escape route. Photo of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Several years ago I flew to San Francisco in early May. When I left Toronto it was 80 F, a few hours later, when I arrived in San Francisco it was 67F. Couldn’t believe how I could fly so many miles south and end up cooler than where I had left.

I've switched to mirrorless, sony A9ii from Cannon 5D mk3, The big changes have been: autofocus, In-body stabilisation, and the dynamic range. The change suited me but I do a lot of action photography. Hope that is useful.
