We really enjoyed this place having been before. Most of the five towns (cinque terre) are mainly accessed by the train. the train travels through tunnels to a railway station to serve the town. a couple of the towns you have to alight the train in the tunnel. we did one of the cliff top walks from one town to another. it is absolutely beautiful
