this is Silverdale beach a very special place. Its juts out into Morecambe bay and the whole of this area is a place of outstanding natural beauty, (we are part of the club that supports the area) what you see here a few years ago was covered in salt marsh and the sheep would be grazing on it, but the river changed its course which it does now and again and has eaten the land away this side and land has appeared on the other side near by grange over sands. the sea was like a mill pond today and because it was so still you could see the tide coming in quite fast over the beach. If you remember we are famous here for quicksands so you don't venture out there. Thank you so much for making my little robin of yesterday onto the popular page
