A day at the beach by pusspup

A day at the beach

I know we are having a nice day at the beach, but quietly, do you think she has any food in her pocket?
They certainly look hopeful! Lovely capture.

@robz ha ha, just a secret between the two of us then! Nth Durras NSW. Let me know if you’re headed that way!

What a great looking position. We have friends in Broulee but we've never detoured off the beaten track out to your area. It looks lovely and well worth a visit. Is it a 4WD track out through the N.P.? You must have been really concerned with the Bateman's Bay fires! I hope your area was OK - and I'd love to have some local input if we get down that way! Thanks so much for the info! Cheers Rob

@robz has been a tarmac Rd for a while now. Durras was one of the first areas to be hit in the Currawan fires.

@blueberry1222 basically yes:)
@koalagardens I didn't have any food, but considering the local devastation due to fires and the increased 'roo population I did give them a couple of carrots next day:) Normally I don't feed them.

@pusspup carrots and sweet potatoes have been saving many of the macropods :) love your work

Oh how sad, I feel so sorry for the animals at the moment after the fires, especially in your area. It must be heartbreaking to see so many poor roos and other wildlife scrabbling for food.
