darkness (word of the day) in a cup of French coffee - half empty or half full

I love the French and all things French but I've never managed to share with them my concept of 'a cup of coffee'. (I hadn't been drinking this one, just agitating the coffee to get rid of the froth to make it agree with 'darkness'!)

I`ve drink coffee many times in the U.S.A. , we never get close. Love it very strong and black

It is always half empty - you pay full price you should get a full cup!

Hazel, do you ever ask for' un cafe creme'? or even a' grand cafe creme'? I am sure you have and its probably not to your taste but for me its a lovely creamy proper cup of coffee! I love your shot and the colour of the little cup and saucer is beautiful! Very good for darkness!
