@vickisfotos Vicki, that's interesting - I started to doubt myself a little too when nobody had heard of this!! I think it's just a specific species of dogwood bears fruit and the flowers are small, white and profuse. Is it easy to give me the ref to yours? I'd like to see it.

ok, sorry to fill up your mailbox...I guess when putting a link in the comment box, you have to copy and past from the upper address bar, not the lower code from the share box...
@vickisfotos Thanks, Vicki- I saw your shot and think your dogwood is a slightly different variety with different shaped leaves. Your google search was interesting too, thank you. (Yes I can use the upper address bar but haven't yet been able to fathom the working of the lower code from the share box. Thanks for taking the trouble!)
