The 6 inch tall cutting was given to Ray by a friend and is resolutely growing in its little pot, near the house now, for a bit of shelter from the frost and fog.
@judithg I think we might end up bringing it at least into the utility as it's only semi-hardy. I want to pick the right moment though, not when it's too late!!

@barbcapecod I had to ask a while ago to make sure i understand bokeh. The word is Japanese and means blur or haze and is that hazy background effect you can get in some macro shots. My friend speaks a bit of Japanese and tells me it's pronounced bokay (with a short sound {say as in 'pot' }on the first syllable).
