Ah Hazel, at least you found some. I couldn't find one for love nor money, even in a florist. I eventually took a photo of the Google Images page :) I adore Carnations so I am going to keep searching just so that I can buy some for home. The weather is just too hot to even attempt growing them at the moment.
@purplehaze12 Yes, treat yourself. I went to M&S this morning to collect some sale items I'd bought online but managed to resist the flowers - somehow!
@cathycope I think carnations are quite a hardy flower indoors but of course it's cold, not hot, here now! They are not as popular for sale here as they used to be and roses and chrysanthemums seem to be much easier to find.
Carnation`s . A old fashion flower in our country too. I remember them mostly from my Dad`s flower shop when he did make bridal bouquet`s of those flowers ( white one`s ) . When I started to be a florist it was n`t done any more. Orchids where popular then . The bouquets getting also much smaller and different of arrangements .
