'new'-flowering witch hazel

I couldn't get to grips with a photo for braille but this witch hazel has a subtle scent.

Wonderful capture of Hazel blooming. I know they are early , but on the forth of January ?

@pyrrhula Yes, in the front garden near here on our regular daily walk. And in the grounds of Mottisfont Abbey on Boxing Day I found orange witch hazel but the blossoms all had their faces turned to the ground.

I've never seen anything like it! I'll have to find some witch hazel lotion too, and see if I like the smell. Okay, so please tell me again where the word challenge is. I always start out trying to follow it, then get busy with other pix I like better, and then lose the train of the thing.
