'dessicated'

A bit how my brain feels trying to keep up with word of the day! Today the sun rose and has stayed risen instead of disappearing behind a bank of grey cloud. So we are off to Romsey with Jinks for a walk around the river and the town and, with a bit of luck, I'll find a shot for 'shops'.............
Love the skeletal flowers? Is this a Hydrangea? Never sure whether this bit is flower/bracts leaves?
Oh and there is strong black coffee to add to the list!

@tishpics Oh thank you - I found a bush with whole dessicated heads in a front garden and cropped the resultant pic and just put it through picmonkey 'adjust' which does bring shots up well. If I didn't have Jinks to walk I wouldn't get the half of the shots I do get!

Great detail of the skeletons of the petals. Even at this point a hydrangea is beautiful.
