I barely go out after dark.....

...........so, en route from the car park to the university concert hall last night I decided to try a bit of night photography. This is the foyer of the theatre there and I wondered about having a title of 'Strangers in the Night' for the shot. There is also a bare tree in the courtyard but you can hardly see any of its nude branches.
Love that purple and turquoise lighting. Great that you've captured some bystanders too...!

This is very good Hazel and I love the way you have captured those two people in a romantic tete-a-tete! A very successful night shot, the lighting is lovely and you've got the bare tree in there too!!

@tishpics

You've very kind, thank you. I nearly deleted this one after I put it up as I wasn't sure about it. I also got a shot of a skateboard padlocked to a rubbish bin! But it was soooo cold and I only took the one shot of it which was not at all good.

France is n`t far from us. In those days there where other borders , or no borders at all. When that church was build the inhabitants of that village was about 200 people and they payed the cost for that church .

@pyrrhula
Yes, true, I hadn't thought of France being close to you. I thought of it being closer to England but we have the ocean between them and us which you don't!
