'Gertrude Jekyll' after the rain

I found this red rose in the garden yesterday. It's raining again today. Ray, usually a positive person, said at breakfast this morning, 'I wonder when it'll stop raining, IF it ever stops raining.'

Thank you everyone for your interest in my real and reflected poppy wreaths yesterday. That was an unexpected shot to find when we had a walk with Jinks along the prom at Lee on Solent.
