the first frost

This is the Gertrude Jekyll rose in our garden which I posted recently as bright red with raindrops.

For the first time in my almost 3 years on 365, I found yesterday that both the shots I posted on one day (Monday:the blackbird and the sunset with crescent moon) were on PP. A surprise - thank you!

It's dull and grey here with left-over overnight puddles but not raining yet. Time for a quick breakfast and to get out for the morning walk with Jinks.
