He hates a bath but likes the hairdryer afterwards - except on his face. Taken one-handed with my little Lumix as I had to bribe him, with a couple of toasties, to pose for me.
(I took this shot on auto and I think this little camera did well on a whopping ISO of 3200. I've just put the vignette on it, nothing else.)
Thanks everyone for putting my yesterday's blackbird on PP. A nice surprise when I logged on to 365 on another wet morning. (The sun shone yesterday!)
Well done Jinks ! -- they are so funny (or sometimes infuriating ) over simple daily routine for us !! Alfie is quite tolerant while he has his bath except for his face and beard but the dryer is another matter he's off hell for leather on the sight of the hair dryer - so by now I have given up on that one !! FAV
Wonderful capture - Love the way Jinks is looking at you - or is it the treat? LOL!! I wish Finlay liked the hairdryer - he takes off as soon as he hears it. He prefers the rubbing himself along the carpet method of drying himself!!
Andrea, don't feel deprived. Jinks is not a sitting-on-knee dog. He does like to cuddle up next to somebody who's watching TV: Ray. (Jinks is supposed to be my dog!)
How cute is he?! Monty is on a diet but just got a whole Smartie cookie courtesy of the cat knocking them on to the floor - luckily I got there before he got through the whole pack!
Jinks uses the rubbing along the carpet method to clean his chops of something he's been eating. Charming!

Thanks for fav. Maybe I should (or shouldn't) add that a bath for Jinks is an infrequent experience - takes too much energy/hassle on my part!
What a lovely comment! He makes us smile and feel happy too but sometimes he can be soooo exasperating!
